PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for awning-covering operation comprising a novel awning-covering technique with which covering operation of a bellow for a vehicle or a luggage carrier, agricultural film or the like for a plastic house can be performed safely, efficiently and economically even by only one worker or two without requiring anyone to climb up a high place.SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool for awning-covering operation 1 is structured as follows: sequentially combining an arch-curved cylindrical base rod 3, a middle rod 4 and a top rod 5 so as to be formed into an arch-shaped telescopic mechanism 6 to form an arch rod 2； setting a flexible hook 7 to the tip end of the base rod 3； attaching a tightening lock 8 to the tip end of the middle rod 4； inserting the tip end side of a suspending rope 9 on which a grip ball 90 having a diameter larger than that of the base end opening 30 of the base rod 3 is mounted on the base end side of the rope 9, into a pipeline getting to the tip end opening 50 of the top rod 5 from the base end opening 30 of the arch rod 2 and the base rod 3 so as to flexibly go backward or forward； and mounting an eyeball clip 91 on the tip end of the suspending rope 9 exposed from the tip end opening 50 of the top rod 5.
