PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watching device and a watching system that can detect the physical conditions of persons receiving nursing service while restraining the risk of wrong detection.SOLUTION: A device for detecting the physical conditions of persons receiving nursing service is equipped with a radio wave sensor 30 that generates Doppler signals by emitting electromagnetic transmitted waves, receiving reflected waves obtained as the reflection of the transmitted waves and synthesizing the transmitted waves and the reflected waves, and a signal processor 40 that determines the physical conditions of a person receiving nursing service on the basis of the Doppler signals generated by the radio wave sensor 30. The signal processor 40 calculates the distance between the radio wave sensor 30 and an object by using the frequency or phase of the Doppler signals, assumes the object to be a person receiving nursing service to be monitored if the calculated distance is equal to or less than a prescribed value and determines the physical conditions of the person by using the Doppler signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】誤検知を抑制したうえで、被介護者の身体状態を検知できる見守り装置及び見守りシステムを提供する。【解決手段】被介護者の身体状態を検知する装置であって、電磁波による送信波を出射し、送信波が対象物で反射することで得られる反射波を受信し、送信波と反射波とを合成することでドップラー信号を生成する電波センサ30と、電波センサ30で生成されたドップラー信号に基づいて、被介護者の身体状態を判定する信号処理部40とを備え、信号処理部40は、ドップラー信号の周波数又は位相を用いて電波センサ30と対象物との距離を算出し、算出した距離が所定値以下の場合に、対象物が監視対象となる被介護者であるとみなしてドップラー信号を用いて被介護者の身体状態を判定する。【選択図】図2
