PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sparkling topical agent which is easily handled and contains an acidic substance and a carbon dioxide generating substance that reacts with the acidic substance to generate carbon dioxide, the sparkling topical agent being excellent in stability and durability and not causing a problem of unexpected generation of carbon dioxide during manufacture or storage of the sparkling topical agent.SOLUTION: A sparkling topical agent is provided as a single formulation or multiple formulations including two or more formulations. One of the formulations includes at least an acidic substance and a carbon dioxide generating substance that reacts with the acidic substance to generate carbon dioxide.
