PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of more reliably reducing the risk of failure of an electric part in an enclosure due to condensation.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes an enclosure, a heat exchanger, a cooling system, a determination part and a cooling control part. The enclosure houses electric parts. The heat exchanger cools the inside of the enclosure. The cooling system cools the electric parts by supplying coolant to the electric parts. The determination part determines whether the electric parts or the area around the electric parts is in a state where no condensation is generated on the basis of the temperature and the humidity of the electric parts or the area around them. The cooling control part controls the cooling system to supply the coolant to the electric parts when it is determined that the electric parts or the area around them is in a state where no condensation is generated.
