PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted robot apparatus that can assist in an action of lifting a heavy object or walking with a limited driving source, but does not hinder a wearers action.SOLUTION: Two electric motors 1 that generate a driving torque for use in assisting in a movement of the upper body or movements of the thighs are disposed on the left and right sides respectively of a wearers hip. A lumber frame to be worn on the wearers chest extends along the back of the wearers hip, and the rotation shafts of the two electric motors 1 are fixed to the respective ends of the lumbar frame. The lumbar frame and an upper body assist arm that is worn on the wearers chest are coupled to each other so that they can freely rotate about an anteroposterior axial line and vertical axial line by means of an upper body coupler. One ends of two thigh frames are fixed to the stationary ends of the electric motors 1, and the other ends are worn on the lateral sides of the thighs.
