PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated massage device which can improve a massage effect by performing both an operation to pick up and an operation to strike, and to provide a beauty method using the same.SOLUTION: The manually operated massage device is provided with: a pair of rollers 4A, 4B and a body 2, where bearings 23A, 23B, and 24A, 24B that respectively support the rollers 4A, 4B rotatably and a grip 22 that is grasped to are formed. The rollers 4A, 4B are disposed so that the rotation axes XA, XB thereof form a V character. The internal angle &theta formed by the rotation axes XA, XB is set to be 90° to 130°.
