PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle holder for endoscopic surgery that allows a suture thread to be wound around the needle holder easily and reliably in a suturing process, especially during ligation, in endoscopic surgery, and a suturing method using the needle holder.SOLUTION: There is provided a needle holder for endoscopic surgery including a body part in which a needle holding grip part for gripping a needle part of a suturing thread with a needle is formed at the tip, and a holding part formed on the needle holding grip part side of the body part for forming a gap for holding a suturing thread part of the suturing thread with a needle, and a suturing method using the needle holder.
