A multi-component housing (100) having a length and comprising at least a first component (41) comprising a first plastic material (41a), a second component (42) comprising a second plastic material (42a), and a third component comprising a third plastic material (43a). The tolerance-elimination element (50) has an average length (H) extending parallel to the housings longitudinal axis, which average length is at least ten times less than the length of the housing.
