PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an absorbent article capable of cutting a continuous form formed by connecting component parts constituting an absorbent article, and transporting the cut simplex while inhibiting creases and twisting of the simplex.SOLUTION: An apparatus 100 for manufacturing an absorbent article includes: a cutter for transporting a continuous form formed by connecting component parts constituting an absorbent article and a transport device for transporting a simplex cut by the cutter. The transport device has a feed roll for transporting the simplex delivered from the cutter along the outer peripheral surface, and the outer peripheral surface of the feed roll is provided with a lower mesh belt layer and an upper mesh belt layer disposed on the lower mesh belt layer.
