The present invention discloses a novel pad for sterilizing food, capable of preventing the food contained in a packaging container from being decomposed by various bacteria to maintain food freshness and increase a food shelf life, by preparing, in various pad forms, a moisture-absorbent fabric in which chlorine dioxide (ClO_2) is injected or impregnated to enable various foods, such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and shellfish to be accommodated in the packaging container. The present invention includes: a moisture-absorbent fabric cut into various shapes, such as rectangular, circular, or the like, according to the shape of a packaging container accommodating food and then stacked in two layers a highly hygroscopic resin, in a form of powder, in which chlorine dioxide (ClO_2) is injected or impregnated to the moisture-absorbent fabric while being evenly distributed and attached between the two layers of the moisture-absorbent fabric an inner envelope made of an air permeable material and accommodating the moisture-absorbent fabric and an air permeable sheet allowing chlorine dioxide, which is generated from the moisture-absorbent fabric and emitted through the inner envelope, to diffuse into the packing container containing food, such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and shellfish, in a state of being wrapped around the surface of the inner envelope.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명에서는 이산화염소(ClO2)가 주입 또는 함침(含浸)된 흡습포(吸濕布)를 다양한 형상의 패드(Pad)형태로 제작하여 과일류, 채소류, 화훼류, 생선류, 어패류 같은 각종 식품의 포장용기내에 수납할 수 있도록 함으로써 포장용기내에 수용된 식품이 각종 세균에 의하여 부패되지 않도록 하여 식품의 신선도를 유지하면서 유통기간을 늘릴 수 있도록 한 새로운 식품용 살균패드가 개시된다.본 발명은 식품이 수용되는 포장용기의 형상에 따라 사각형, 원형을 비롯한 다양한 형상으로 재단된 후 2겹으로 겹쳐지는 흡습포와 상기 2겹의 흡습포 사이에 고르게 분포되어 부착된 상태에서 이산화염소(ClO2)가 주입되거나 함침(含浸)되는 분말형태의 고흡습성 수지와 통기성을 갖는 재질로 이루어지며, 상기 흡습포가 수용되는 내부 봉투와 상기 내부 봉투의 표면에 감싸여진 상태에서 상기 흡습포로부터 발생되어 내부 봉투를 통하여 발산되는 이산화염소가 과일류나 채소류나 화훼류 또는 생선류나 어패류의 식품이 담겨진 포장용기 내로 발산되도록 하는 통기성 쉬트를 포함하여 구성된다.
