PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus capable of switching right and left eyes to be inspected in compact and simple construction.
SOLUTION: The ophthalmic apparatus is equipped with an optical system unit 101 integrally having a front eye portion observing optical system 49 for observing a front eye portion from a front face direction of the eye 1 to be inspected, an illumination optical system 47 for irradiating the eye 1 to be inspected with eye inspecting light, a photographing optical system 48 for receiving the eye inspecting light reflected by the eye 1 to be inspected, and an oscillating mechanism 51 for moving the visual field of the front eye portion observing optical system 49 right and left by oscillating the whole of the optical system unit 101. The visual field of the front eye portion observing optical system 49 is moved toward the right and left eyes to be inspected by the oscillation mechanism 51. Here, in the oscillation mechanism 51, the oscillation center 50g of the same is arranged on the optical axis 4 of the front eye portion observing optical system and in the opposite side of the eye 1 to be inspected relative to the objective lens 75 of the front eye portion observing optical system 4 and the front eye portion observing optical system 4 is inclined to the inside of the subject relative to the eye axis the eye 1 to be inspected in the state after moving the visual field of the front end portion observing system 49 toward the left or right eye to be inspected.
