PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device capable of improving uniformity of energy of light irradiated on plants.SOLUTION: An illuminating device (3) is an illuminating device which irradiates a plant (PLT) with light (L). The illuminating device comprises: a light source device (5) including a first solid-state light source (4b) which emits blue light (Lb) and a second solid-state light source (4r) which is arranged at a position different from the first solid-state light source in a predetermined first direction (X-axis direction) and emits red light (Lr) and a light diffusing body (6) which diffuses blue light from the first solid-state light source and red light from the second solid-state light source.
