A wall (1) for exposure of plants has a mainly vertical frame (2) with a device for output of water at the upper part of the wall, a water-bearing surface (6) on at least one side of the wall for reception of the water and distribution of the water over the wall. The wall has a number of plant containers (7,8) arranged on said at least one side of the frame, in which plants can be planted and which have at least one fluid permeable part in physical contact with the water-bearing surface for the transfer of water to the respective plant container. Capillary breaking plates (9) can be placed in a respective slot (10) between the water-bearing surface (6) and the plant container (7,8) in order to individually regulate the transfer of water to each plant container.
