The invention relates to a metering apparatus which carries out with high accuracy the metering of solid agricultural chemicals or granulates and which at the same time keeps the granulates located in the container in constant movement by mixing. The apparatus is equipped with a container, with a conveying worm projecting into the bottom of the container, with a rotary transmission element connected to the axle of the conveying worm and with a casing surrounding the conveying worm. The essence of the apparatus according to the invention is that it has a controller element moving in a guide adapted to the casing, an adjusting lever connected to the controller element, outflow orifices formed on the casing, and, on the controller element, metering orifices covering the outflow orifices of the casing according to the position of the adjusting lever.
