The present invention relates to a composition for prevention and treatment of arthritis, which comprises a DNA fragment mixture and a matrix metalloprotease (MMP) production inhibitor able to solve the problem of matrix metalloprotease production caused upon the use of the DNA fragment mixture in preventing and treating arthritis and thus can suppress inflammatory pain and regenerate cartilage.
