PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food composition and a composition for eliminating an active oxygen having excellent ability for eliminating an active oxygen which are easily taken in, are excellent in conservation, and are useful as an edible material for improving a health power.SOLUTION: The food composition is produced by containing a dried and roasted material of each of a mushroom, a sea weed, a foliage of an Asteraceae plant, and a foliage of an Equisetaceae plant. The composition for eliminating an active oxygen is also produced by containing a dried and roasted material of each of a mushroom, a sea weed, a foliage of an Asteraceae plant, and a foliage of an Equisetaceae plant. The food composition or the composition for eliminating an active oxygen preferably contains further dead cells of a lactic acid bacterium or a dried and roasted material of a lactic acid bacterium which are subjected to an atomization treatment so as to have a median diameter(D50) of a volume integration grain size distribution of 0.3-2 μm. These compositions have preferably an active oxygen eliminating ability value (ORAC value) of 50-250 μ mol TE/g.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】 摂取し易く、保存性に優れ、健康力を向上させる食用材として有用な、活性酸素消去能力に優れた食品組成物及び活性酸素消去用組成物を提供する。【解決手段】 キノコ、海藻、キク科植物の茎葉、及びトクサ科植物の茎葉のそれぞれの乾燥焙煎物を含有せしめて食品組成物とする。また、キノコ、海藻、キク科植物の茎葉、及びトクサ科植物の茎葉のそれぞれの乾燥焙煎物を含有せしめて活性酸素消去用組成物とする。その食品組成物及び活性酸素消去用組成物は、更に、体積積算粒度分布のメディアン径(D50)が0.3~2μmとなるように微粒子化処理された乳酸菌死菌体、又は乳酸菌の乾燥焙煎物を含有することが好ましい。また、それらの活性酸素消去能力値(ORAC値)が50~250μmolTE/gであることが好ましい。【選択図】 なし
