PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide delivery of LFA-1 antagonists to the gastrointestinal system.SOLUTION: The present invention provides compositions and methods for treating disorders and diseases by delivery of LFA-1 antagonists to the gastrointestinal system. The methods include the delivery of the LFA-1 antagonists to effect localized treatment.
