Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Verminderung der Retraktion der Ränder (4.1) einer geöffneten Faszie (4) eines Patienten (1) mit einer offenen Bauchdecke (2), über die eine Zugkraft (A, B) mit einer vom Körper des Patienten (1) weg gerichteten Kraftkomponente (A1, B1) derart auf die Ränder (4.1) der Faszie (4) aufbringbar ist, dass die Vorrichtung (11) die Ränder (4.1) der Faszie (4) auf Spannung und voneinander beabstandet hält und dass weiterhin eine geöffnete Bauchdecke (2) besteht.
