PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus and a medical image processing program that are capable of more favorably visualizing an anatomical structure than the prior art.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus comprises a curved plane determination unit and an image generation unit. For three-dimensional data on an anatomical structure having a plurality of sub-structures, the curved plane determination unit determines a first curved plane passing through the plurality of sub-structures.
