PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tending machine capable of performing tillage work smoothly in any farm field.SOLUTION: A walking type tending machine plows a farm field with a plurality of tilling claws 26 mounted to a tilling shaft 68 and disc-like side plates 27 provided on both left and right ends of the tilling shaft 68. The disc-like side plate 27 is a disc shape in a side view and constituted by a dish-shaped disc part with one surface curved into a dish shape in a machine body front view and a hollow cylinder part provided at a center of the dish-shaped disc part and at an outer end of the tilling shaft 68.
