PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer set being simple to use and providing a substantially foolproof operation.SOLUTION: The transfer set is adapted for transferring fluids under sterile conditions within a sealed container. The transfer set includes a collar 22, a needle cannula and holder assembly 24, and a closure 26. The collar has a proximal tubular end portion 28 received to cover the sealed open end of the container, an intermediate portion 30, and a distal tubular portion 34. A needle cannula holder 48 has a proximal end portion 50 received in the collar and a distal tubular portion 52 having camming surfaces. The closure has a tubular body portion 66, a closed distal end portion, and an inner tubular portion 72.
