Provided herein are lipid-based nanoparticles (e.g., exosomes) having (a) a core comprising a cationic polymer and a therapeutic agent (e.g., a therapeutic protein, an antibody, an inhibitory RNA, and/or a small molecule drug) and (b) a lipid coating comprising an exosomes-derived membrane.
