PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the discoloration of clothes stocked or stored e.g. in a wardrobe, drawer, closet or plastic wardrobe case, especially prevent the discoloration of clothes by applying a discoloration preventing effect to widely used conventional preparation for the preservation of textile products.
SOLUTION: A textile product preservation preparation having discoloration preventing function for textile products is obtained by using a textile product preservation agent in combination with a material having corrosive gas adsorbing or degrading capability, especially a porous material as an agent for preventing the discoloration of textile products. The discoloration of textile products is prevented by using the textile product preservation preparation.
