A light guide material is provided. The light guide material comprises a carrier material provided with a photoluminescent material. The carrier material is arranged for receiving and transmitting first light from a light source having a first wavelength. The photoluminescent material is arranged for converting at least a portion of said received first light into second light having a second wavelength, different from the first wavelength. At least a portion of the carrier material is a silicone material and at least a portion of the photoluminescent material is an organic photoluminescent material. An optical device with a light guide comprising such light guide material, and and a method of manufacturing such light guide material are also provided.Linvention concerne un matériau guide de lumière. Le matériau guide de lumière comprend un matériau porteur doté dun matériau photoluminescent. Le matériau porteur est disposé de manière à recevoir et à émettre une première lumière depuis une source de lumière ayant une première longueur donde. Le matériau photoluminescent est disposé pour convertir au moins une portion de ladite première lumière reçue en une deuxième lumière ayant une deuxième longueur donde, différente de la première longueur donde. Au moins une portion du matériau porteur est un matériau silicone et au moins une portion du matériau photoluminescent est un matériau photoluminescent organique. Linvention concerne également un dispositif optique muni dun guide de lumière comprenant ledit matériau guide de lumière ainsi quun procédé de fabrication dudit matériau guide de lumière.
