A method of fixing lugs (12) to a chassis band (10), the method comprising: providing first and second bands of feed lugs (16); cut the first band of feed lugs to provide a nested pattern of first and second left lugs (12A, 12B), each of the first and second left lugs having parallel edges of different lengths, the first left lugs being oriented in a correct orientation wherein the shorter parallel edges of the lugs are oriented in a first direction and the second left lugs are oriented in an inverse orientation with respect to the correct orientation such that the shorter parallel edges of the second left lugs are oriented in a second address opposite the first address; cut the second band of feed lugs to provide a nested pattern of first and second right lugs (12A, 12B), each of the first and second lugs having parallel edges of different lengths, the second right lugs being oriented in a correct orientation wherein the shorter parallel edges of the lugs are oriented towards a third direction and the first right lugs are oriented in an inverse orientation with respect to the correct orientation such that the shorter parallel edges of the first right lugs are oriented in a fourth address opposite the third address; hold the first and second left lugs and the first and second right lugs by vacuum; reorient the second left lugs in the correct left orientation using a lug swivel assembly that expands at a pace large enough so that the lugs do not nest and leave room for rotation of any other lugs; reorient the first right lugs in the correct right orientation using a lug swivel assembly that expands at a pace large enough so that the lugs do not nest and leave room for rotation of any other lugs; coupling the first left lugs and the first right lugs on a feed chassis band to create a first chassis and lug assembly; coupling the second left lugs and the second right lugs on the feed chassis band to create a second set of chassis and lug, such that for each pair of firs
