PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety shield that locks a shield at an extended position to enclose a cannula after use.SOLUTION: The safety shield may be retracted from a first position enclosing a needle cannula for the safety shield to a second position where an end part of the needle cannula 34 exposes for injection. The safety shield system permits retraction of the safety shield 22 during use, but extends the shield enclosing the needle cannula 34 in a locked position following use. The shield system is utilized with a pen needle injector 20 having a double ended needle cannula 34 mounted on a hub 40 received in the open end of the pen needle injector. An assembly can be safely disposed of by removing an safety shield assembly. In the assembly of the needle cannula and the hub, a cap also includes internal radial ribs 56 preventing retraction of the shield prior to removing the cap, preventing inadvertently piercing the cap while the safety shield assembly is being assembled into the pen needle injector.【課題】使用後に伸びて覆った位置でシールドをロックする安全シールドを提供する。【解決手段】シールドシステムであって、安全シールド針カニューレを覆う第一位置から針カニューレ３４の端部が挿入のために露出する第二位置へ引っ込められる。使用中、安全シールド２２の引っ込みを可能とするが、使用後、ロックされた位置で針カニューレ３４を覆うようにシールドが伸びる。ペン針注入器の開口端部に収容されるハブ４０に載せられた両端同形の針カニューレ３４を有するペン針注入器２０に利用され、組み立て品は、安全シールド組み立て品を取り外すことによって安全に処分されることが可能であり、針カニューレとハブの組み立て品はキャップはまた、キャップが取り外されるのに先だって、シールドの引っ込みを防止する内側半径方向に伸びるリブ５６を含み、安全シールド組み立て品がペン針注入器に組み立てられる間、キャップの不慮の突き刺しを防止する。【選択図】図２
