PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container and a test tool package which are easily gripped with fingers and is hard to roll when placed on a table or the like.
SOLUTION: The storage container 2 stores a test tool used by being attached to a body fluid component measurement device. The storage container 2 has: a casing 3 which has a form of a cylindrical shape with a bottom with a proximal end side open a hold part 4 which is provided inside the casing 3 and holds the test tool and six ribs 5a to 5f which project to the outer peripheral part of the casing 3, are extended along its central axis direction, are placed along the peripheral direction at equal intervals, and have almost rectangular horizontal cross section shapes. The storage container 2 is gripped with fingers in the state that the test tool is stored and the test tool in the stored state is attached to the body fluid measurement device from the proximal end side.
