The invention relates to a diffuser provided for the diffusion of insect attractants, characterised in that it comprises a powdery or granular matrix that can absorb water or other liquids, said matrix being impregnated or mixed with the attractant components and the entirety is arranged inside a bag or container which is partially or entirely formed by a permeable membrane via which the vapours of the attractant components diffuse.
