Use of an aziridine compound for the stabilization of iodine containing compounds, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composition comprising at least an iodine containing compound and at least an aziridine compound (2) a binding formulation comprising at least an oxidative dry binder, as a binding agent and (3) a technical material comprising at least an iodine containing compound and at least an aziridine compound.
