PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture tool causing a puncture part to reliably puncture to a desired depth of biological tissue.SOLUTION: An outer holder 30 includes an engagement release part that releases engagement between an inner holder 20 and a puncture needle by push-in of the inner holder 20 against spring force of a spring member. A puncture tool 1 is configured to protrude a puncture part 12 of the puncture needle, the engagement of which with the inner holder 20 is released by the engagement release part, from a protrusion port of the inner holder 20 by the spring force of the spring member.
