PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific separation material which has excellent biocompatibility, and in which a sufficient amount of antibodies are chemically bonded strongly with excellent orientation.SOLUTION: The specific separation material includes a water-insoluble carrier, a polymer bonded to at least the surface of the water-insoluble carrier, and the antibody bonded to the polymer, the polymer is the copolymer of a hydrophilic monomer and a hydrophobic monomer, a molar composition ratio of a structure unit that originate the hydrophilic monomer is 0.30 to 0.60 with respect to the whole structure unit, a fixation amount per unit surface area of the antibody is equal to or more than 1.50 mg/m, and the value of an anti-Fab/anti-Fc ratio indicating antibody orientation is equal to or larger than 6.【課題】優れた生体適合性を有し、かつ、十分量の抗体が配向よく強固に化学結合した特異的分離材を提供すること。【解決手段】水不溶性担体と、該水不溶性担体の少なくとも表面に結合したポリマーと、該ポリマーに結合した抗体とを有し、ポリマーが、親水性モノマー及び疎水性モノマーの共重合体であり、かつ親水性モノマーに由来する構造単位のモル組成比が、全構造単位に対して、0.30~0.60であり、抗体の単位表面積あたりの固定量が1.50mg/m2以上であり、かつ抗体配向性を示す抗Fab/抗Fc比率の値が6以上である、特異的分離材。【選択図】図1
