#$%^&*AU2019201139A120191003.pdf#####ABSTRACT A subsurface pressurised water irrigation system is disclosed including at least one oval crosssection irrigation tube configured for soil subsurface installation. The irrigation tube defines a plurality of co-extruded, juxtaposed hollow tubes including a plurality of spray tubes and a plenum tube having a diameter greater than the spray tube. The system may further include a header tube of right circular cylindrical cross-section having a circular cylindrical cross-section end for connection to the header tube and an oval cross-section end configured for connection to the irrigation tube. The oval cross-section end of the connector may include a plenum connector portion shaped complementally to the cross-sectional shape of the plenum tube and a spray tube portion shaped complementally to the cross-sectional shape of the spray tube. A water passage extends between the plenum connector portion and the spray tube portion to permit water flow therethrough.
