PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blood pump for preventing an impeller from raising excessively in rotating the impeller and contacting to an inner surface of a housing, having less rotational resistance of the impeller and less heat generation.SOLUTION: The centrifugal blood pump 1 includes a housing 2 and an impeller 3. The housing 2 includes a blood inflow port 22, a blood outflow port 23, and a shaft forming part 5 projecting from the inside upper surface of the housing 2 to the lower direction having a shaft part 52. The impeller 3 includes a magnetic body 41 and a shaft receiving part 35 having an concave part 36 capable of receiving the shaft part 52 of the shaft forming part 5.
