PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle which reduces the discharge part being stopped up by skin tissue to secure stable discharge flow, and also to provide a needle puncture unit and a liquid injection apparatus which use the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a needle 3 which is pierced into a living body and injects liquid into the living body, including: a distal end 33 which reaches a subcutaneous layer 63 of the living body； a discharge part (discharge port 321) which discharges the liquid toward the dermal layer 62； and a tubular part 31 which guides the liquid to the discharge port 321. The distal end 33 includes a blade 332 which acts as an edge in a piercing direction. The distal end 33 is solid.
