The present invention relates to an X-ray field controlling device having a dose-area product meter embedded therein, the device comprising: a main body a light transmission collimating unit arranged in an interior of the main body an upper X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit arranged in the interior of the main body to adjust the irradiation area of X-rays irradiated from an X-ray tube device a lower X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit for adjusting, in connection with the upper X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit, the irradiation area of X-rays transmitted through the upper X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit and incident to the irradiation area and a dose-area measuring unit placed on an X-ray irradiation line between the upper X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit and the lower X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit so as to measure the X-ray dose transmitted through the upper X-ray irradiation area adjusting unit and incident to the irradiation area and reflect the light irradiated from the light transmission collimating unit toward the irradiation area of X-rays. A dose-area product meter sensor is miniaturized and installed within the X-ray field controlling device, thus reducing the overall volume and weight of the X-ray field controlling device.
