An absorbent article which comprises a topsheet disposed on a side surface in contact with the skin, the backsheet disposed on a side surface not in contact with the skin, and an absorbent body disposed between both sheets, the indicating portion whose color changes when visually coming into contact with the fluid, is located between the backsheet and the absorbent body and the absorbent body comprises an absorbent core which comprises a fibrous material and an absorbent polymer, and the cover sheet, which covers the outer surface of the absorbent core, the cover sheet has a laterally section of the absorbent body, baggy portion which covers an area from the side surface in contact with the skin, to the surface side not in contact with the skin, the absorbent core and covering the mouth portion connected to the bag-shaped portion and located outwardly of it, and closing the mouth portion is formed so that both lateral end portions of the covering sheet disposed on the surface side not in contact with the skin, the absorbent core are bonded in a state where they are turned so as to face each other and stacked, and wherein closing the mouth portion is so to completely cover the area in which were located the indicator part, and closing the mouth of the bag-shaped part and chastichnosoedineny.2.
