The invention relates to a device that enables the artificial ageing of dentistry materials by means of heat changes alternating between cold and hot in an automated manner. The invention consists in a driving arm that submerges a sample-carrying basket alternately in a cold and hot bath of aqueous solution, respectively. The device allows the precise control of the number of cycles, the selection of the working temperatures, the precise maintenance of the temperatures of the baths, the selection of the duration of the cycles, the selection of the cold-hot transition mode and, if desired, manual work. The development of this device increases the validity and the significance of artificial ageing by means of thermal cycling, providing a very useful tool for resolving various problems within the field of material analysis in restorative dentistry.Se ha desarrollado un dispositivo que permite realizar envejecimiento artificial de materiales odontológicos mediante cambios térmicos de alternancia frío- calor de forma automatizada. La invención consiste en un brazo motriz que sumerge una cesta porta-muestras de forma alterna en un baño de solución acuosa fría y caliente, respectivamente. El dispositivo permite el control preciso del número de ciclos, seleccionar las temperaturas de trabajo, el mantenimiento exacto de las temperaturas de los baños, seleccionar la duración de los ciclos, elegir el modo de transición frío-calor y, si se desea, permite trabajar de forma manual.
