The present invention is related a method for determining an artificial periodic patterned signal comprising the steps of : providing a set of commands for driving a central pattern generator - providing a brain computer interface (BCI) determining a set of signals originating from said BCI, said set of signals corresponding to said set of commands determining from a BCI measurement a signal pertaining to said set of signals sending a command corresponding to the determined signal to the central pattern generator, said central pattern generator producing an artificial periodic patterned signal based on said command.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la détermination de signal périodique artificiel à motifs comprenant les étapes suivantes: la fourniture dun ensemble de commandes pour la commande dun générateur de motifs central la fourniture dune interface cerveau-ordinateur (BCI) la détermination dun ensemble de signaux dérivés dudit ordinateur BCI, ledit ensemble de signaux correspondant au dit ensemble de commandes la détermination à partir dune mesure par lordinateur BCI dun signal relatif au dit ensemble de signaux la transmission dune commande correspondant au signal déterminé au générateur de motifs central, ledit générateur de motifs central produisant un signal périodique artificiel à motifs sur la base de ladite commande.
