PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation apparatus and plant cultivation method for efficiently changing the plant cultivation environment.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a plant cultivation apparatus 10 comprising a cultivation unit 20 of a plant cultivation barrel erected in a vertical direction, a liquid supply unit, and a moving device for movably supporting them. The liquid storage tanks 30a, 30b are installed above the plant cultivation barrel. The control device identifies a cultivation unit 20 whose treatment in a breeding processing area A 1 has been completed, and then moves the cultivation unit to a next immersion treatment area A2.
