The present invention relates to the field of tissue damage. More specifically, the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition useful for treating tissue damage. In a particular embodiment, the pharmaceutical composition comprises: (a) a stem cell mobilizing agent and (b) an immunosuppressive agent or a non-immunosuppressive FK binding protein ligand.
