<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful composition for the incidence lowering or relaxation of blossom-end rot, the increase in yield, or the improvement in the degree of sugar, of tomato, and to provide a method for the incidence lowering or relaxation of blossom-end rot of tomato, a method for the increase in yield, or a method for the improvement in the degree of sugar, of tomato. <；P>；SOLUTION: The composition contains a sugar manufacture by-product which is produced when producing beet sugar from sugar beet and includes saccharide, organic acids, amino acids, and betaine, and is for the incidence lowering or relaxation of blossom-end rot, the increase in yield, or the improvement in the degree of sugar, of tomato.
