PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical adaptor that can be attached to a lens barrel part without limiting the installation and size of components in the lens barrel part and without making the diameter of the lens barrel part large, and to provide an endoscope apparatus equipped with the optical adaptor.
SOLUTION: The optical adaptor is freely detachably attached to the lens barrel part provided at the leading end part of an optical system for an endoscope apparatus, and the optical adaptor includes: an adaptor main body 9 into which the lens barrel part 3 is inserted a fixing cylinder 15 into which the adaptor main body 9 is inserted, and which is displaceable back and forth relatively to the adaptor main body 9 and a projecting part 23 provided in the adaptor main body 9 and opposed to a step part 12b formed on the trailing end side of the lens barrel part 3. When the fixing cylinder 15 displaces forward, the displacement of the projecting part 23 from the position where the projecting part 23 opposed to the step part 12b formed on the trailing end side of the lens barrel part 3 to the outside is prevented by the fixing cylinder 15.
