PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave sensor capable of precisely measuring a subjects pulse wave.SOLUTION: The pulse wave sensor 1 includes an optical sensor part 11 that acquires pulse wave data by applying light to a living body 2 from a light emitting part and making a light receiving part detect intensity of the light transmitted through the living body 2, and a body part 10 which supports the optical sensor part 11. The body part 10 is a member subject to a pushing force directed to the side of the living body 2 in attachment to the living body 2.
