The present invention relates to a novel Bifidobacterium longum strain or Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain having the prevention or treatment effects of obesity, and a use thereof. Treatment of each of the lactic acid bacteria Bifidobacterium longum strain and the Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain of the present invention results in brown fat of white adipocytes and especially, expression of specific genes of beige adipocytes and brown adipocyte was confirmed to be significantly increased compared to an untreated control group. In addition, as a result of an experiment of high fat diet obese mice, each strain showed a significant inhibitory effect on weight gain compared to a negative control group and confirmed an expression increase effect of fever-specific genes in white adipocytes of mice. Therefore, the lactic acid bacteria Bifidobacterium longum strain and the Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain exhibit an anti-obesity effect, respectively, to be beneficially used as food, medicine or feed for the prevention or treatment of obesity, thereby being very useful in related industries.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020본 발명은 비만의 예방 또는 치료 효과를 가지는 신규 비피도박테리움 롱검 균주 또는 락토바실러스 람노서스 균주 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 유산균 비피도박테리움 롱검(Bifidobacterium longum) 균주 및 락토바실러스 람노서스(Lactobacillus rhamnosus) 균주 각각의 처리는 백색지방세포의 갈색지방화를 야기하였으며, 특히, 베이지 지방세포 및 갈색 지방세포 특이적인 유전자의 발현이 비처리 대조구에 비해 현저히 증가하는 효과를 확인하였다. 또한 고지방식이 비만마우스 실험 결과 각 균주는 음성대조군 대비 현저한 체중 증가 억제 효과를 나타내었으며 마우스의 백색지방세포에서 발열 특이 유전자의 발현 증가 효과를 확인하였다.따라서, 유산균 비피도박테리움 롱검 균주 및 락토바실러스 람노서스 균주 각각은 항비만 효과를 나타내므로, 비만의 예방이나 치료를 위한 식품, 의약품 또는 사료로 유용하게 사용될 수 있어, 관련 산업에 매우 유용하다.
