The present disclosure is related to a superficial modification formulation for medical implants with differentiation induction potential of mesenchymal cells derived from bone marrow towards osteoblastic lineage, of a microenvironment generation associated with bone regeneration and modulation of the inflammatory response in hMSCs. The surface modification consists of a titanium oxide nano-coating with amorphous atomic structure with a thickness of less than 100 nm, with contact angle in water of less than 140° in conjunction with micro-structured surfaces with roughness between 1-3 Ám Sa, together with a titanium buffer layer with a thickness of less than 15 nm to favor the total permanence of the functionalization and therefore its biological potential.La presente invención se basa en una formulación de modificación superficial de implantes médicos con potencial de inducción de diferenciación de células mesenquimales derivadas de medula ósea hacia linajes osteoblástico, de generación de un microambiente asociado a regeneración ósea y modulación de la respuesta inflamatoria en las hMSCs. La modificación superficial consiste de un nanorecubrimiento de óxido de titanio de estructura atómica amorfa con un espesor menor a los 100 nm, con ángulo de contacto en agua menor a los 140° en conjunto con superficies microestructuradas con rugosidad entre Sa de 1-3 µm, aunado a una capa buffer de titanio con espesor menor a los 15 nm para favorecer la permanencia total de la funcionalización y por tanto su potencial biológico.
