PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon coating method, a balloon rotating method, and a balloon coating device which can properly apply a coating liquid to an external surface of a balloon and can properly set a morphological form or the like of a medicine coated on the balloon.SOLUTION: A balloon coating method of forming a coat layer 32 containing a water-insoluble medicine on an external surface of a balloon 30 of a balloon catheter 10 includes: a step of fixing a connection part 34 of an inner tube 90 penetrating a balloon 30 and the ballon 30 so as to sandwich the connection part by at least two holding parts 193 having groove-shaped curved surfaces extending along an axial center of the inner tube 90； a pulling step of correcting a curvature of the balloon 30 by pulling the balloon 30 by the holding parts 193； and a step of moving a dispensing tube 134 in an axial direction X of the balloon 30 while rotating the balloon 30, and applying a coating liquid containing the medicine to the external surface of the balloon 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9【課題】バルーンの外表面へコーティング液を適切に塗布することが可能であり、バルーンにコーティングされる薬剤の形態型などを適切に設定可能なバルーンコーティング方法、バルーン回転方法およびバルーンコーティング装置を提供する。【解決手段】バルーンカテーテル１０のバルーン３０の外表面に水不溶性薬剤を含むコート層３２を形成するバルーンコーティング方法であって、バルーン３０を貫通する内管９０とバルーン３０の結合部３４を、内管９０の軸心に沿って延びる溝状の曲面を有する少なくとも２つの挟持部１９３により挟むように固定する工程と、挟持部１９３によりバルーン３０を引っ張ることでバルーン３０の湾曲を矯正する引張工程と、バルーン３０を回転させつつ、ディスペンシングチューブ１３４をバルーン３０の軸心方向Ｘへ移動させて、バルーン３０の外表面に薬剤を含むコーティング液を塗布する工程と、を有する。【選択図】図９
