SOLUTION: An anti &beta - 1,3-glucan monoclonal antibody produced from hybridoma BG1A5 (FERM AP-21284) derived from the mouse spleen immunized by a &beta - Glucan (CSBG) extracted from Candida cell walls and subsequently purified and which antibody is highly reactive to a &beta - 1,3-glucan and is disclosed.
