This invention provides a film-type external agent composition comprising amino acid-based effect component as active component stably and at high concentration, and the active component is supplied to skin efficiently. The film-type external agent composition of the present invention is characterized by containing an effective amount of amino acid-based effect components, and film-forming agent. In the above film-type external agent composition, the amino acid-based effect component is preferably glycylglycine and/or d-glutamic acid. The above film-type external agent composition preferably contains glycylglycine and/or d-glutamic acid in an amount of 0.01 to 10 mass%.
