There is provided a nonwoven fabric composite having dimensions in the machine direction and in the cross machine direction. The composite includes a nonwoven facing disposed adjacent to the elastic film. The nonwoven facing comprises a spunbond web formed by necking a base spunbond web. The base spunbond web comprises a plurality of fibers oriented roughly in the machine direction and having machine direction tensile strength and cross machine direction tensile strength.
