PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food baking device not allowing food articles to move on the surface of a baking plate, capable of skilfully inverting the food articles without sticking the food articles onto the baking plate, and suitable even for baking of a food article using a lot of oil.SOLUTION: A food baking device includes carriage means 7 circularly carrying a plurality of baking plates 6 in going/return paths 2, 3. The food baking device includes, in the going path, heating means 8 for heating the baking plates, and an inversion machine 9 of food articles W, and includes, in the return path, oiling means 11 oiling the baking plates, and supply means 12 for supplying a food article material onto the baking plates. The inversion machine makes a scraper reciprocation mechanism 30 and a scraper rotation mechanism 31 operate in synchronization with a carrying speed of the baking plates, and inverts and replaces the food articles scooped from the baking plate carried in the going path on the baking plate.
